· Security Give them boundaries that will allow them to grow safely, feel secure and overcome fears.

· Honesty Share your real feelings and admit your mistakes to them, so they will learn what it means to be a real person.

· Patience Be understanding when they make mistakes; remember, even when it does not seem like it, they are trying to do their best.

· Forgiveness Remind them that nobody is perfect and it feels much better to forgive than hold a grudge.
